Mary's Meals works in 18 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and the Caribbean.
In theory, basic education is free for all children in Ecuador. In practice, schools often charge fees to cover the costs of books, teaching materials and utilities. This prevents many poor families from sending their children to school.
Mary’s Meals helps encourage children from the slums of Quito to attend school, particularly vulnerable girls.
Our work
We provide daily meals in schools in the country’s capital, Quito.
