The global movement
Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from all walks of life.
We are united by our shared vision of providing a daily meal in a place of education to every child who needs it.
Ours is not a movement that divides rich from poor, or giver from receiver. Every contribution is equally valued, from cash donations that buy the food, to the time given to cook and serve the meals within impoverished communities.
Nearly every part of our work depends on unpaid volunteers and it is through them that our movement grows.
Mary’s Meals affiliates and informal groups of supporters are forming around the world in order to raise funds and awareness of our work. Such groups already exist in Australia, Austria, Bosnia, Canada, Croatia, Germany, Italy, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and the USA.
Despite our various backgrounds, races, religions, languages and situations, we consider ourselves one big family working towards a common goal.
Together, we are helping to transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of impoverished children around the world.
Mary's Meals is a series of lots of little acts of love. If you put all those acts of sacrifice together it creates a beautiful thing.
