Walking together for 10 years in Melville, Saskatchewan
A huge thank you to St. Henry's Parish in Melville, Saskatchewan, who hosted their 10th annual Mary's Meals fundraising luncheon on February 1.
St. Henry's Parish was excited to share the Mary's Meals mission and vision with their congregation, especially their new members. They hosted their annual luncheon and raised an incredible $4,727.45 - enough to feed 145 children a daily meal at school for an entire year. In the lead up to the annual event, throughout January, a short Mary's Meals film was shown before Mass each Sunday.

On the day of the event, Mary's Meals volunteers served a delicious lunch and samples of the porridge served in countries such as Malawi and Zambia. Attendees were also shown the film Walking Together.

Special thanks to Dave Hudy for spearheading this annual fundraising endeavor. We are so grateful to you and to the entire St. Henry's community for your unfailing support and compassion for those in need of a daily meal and an education. Thank you for walking together, in step with our global family, to help us achieve our vision that every child receives at least one daily meal in their place of education and that all those who have more than they need, share with those who lack even the most basic things.
