Toronto School Celebrates World Porridge Day

 Students made and served porridge to families that came in to school early for the hearty breakfast, in solidarity with children who are served Mary's Meals in Malawi. Proceeds of the porridge sales went towards the school's fundraising campaign to sponsor a school in Malawi. Northmount School aims to feed 322 children at Mtende Primary School in Malawi a daily meal at school for one year, enabling those students to attend school and concentrate on their studies, rather than worrying about what they will eat each day.
