Oatmeal and Wear Blue Day at Clear Water Academy
October is the month of World Porridge Day, and Clear Water Academy in Calgary joined in the celebrations with their Oatmeal and Wear Blue Day.
As they do every year, Clear Water Academy showed their incredible love and support for Mary's Meals with their annual Oatmeal and Wear Blue Day.
Porridge was cooked and served, students and staff dressed in blue and once the donations were tallied, enough funds to feed over 90 children for a whole year were raised.
At Mary’s Meals, we are focused on one goal – that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in a place of education.
Thank you to all faculty, students and parents at Clear Water Academy for your ongoing support, and lots (and lots and lots) of little acts of love so hungry children can be fed and educated through Mary's Meals.
