The work of Mary's Meals being new to most at Our Lady of the Evergreens, students busied themselves learning about Mary's Meals, and then created presentations to share with their fellow students. Some students participated in the morning announcements to share more about their fundraiser. Others created posters for their school's "Bling Day" on March 20, where students were encouraged to wear their best bling and bring in donations for Mary's Meals.

A result of all this hard work was enough funds raised to feed over 114 children a daily meal in a place of education in Malawi, Africa - more than triple what was expected! Thank you to students, families and staff of Our Lady of the Evergreens for everything that you did to make this happen. From fundraising to raising awareness of our work within your school community, your efforts are very much appreciated!
