Generation Hope is a beautiful new film which tells the stories of just some of the young people who, having enjoyed Mary’s Meals as children, are now part of a new generation beginning to find its voice and build a brighter future.
About Generation Hope
Filmed on location in Malawi, Haiti and India, Generation Hope shows the extraordinary difference receiving a daily meal in school can make to children growing up in some of the world’s poorest communities.
Generation Hope comes from the same director as Child 31, our award-winning first film, and is inspired by stories from our founder Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow’s bestselling book, The Shed That Fed A Million Children.
In this powerful and uplifting half-hour movie, supporters of Mary’s Meals can meet in a new way some of those children they have so generously helped towards brighter futures, while people new to this important mission can be inspired by this first captivating insight into the charity’s life-changing work.
