Community Ambassador

Qualifications:

  • Ages 18 or over; under 18 must have parental/guardian permission
  • Passionate about the work of Mary’s Meals and excited to become an expert on the program
  • Strong communication and relational skills
  • Team player, adaptable and flexible
  • Engaged in your community and excited to build ambassadors who will lead the way in supporting the work and mission of Mary’s Meals
  • Available evenings and weekends as required for campaign/event support & training

Specifics:

  • Attend monthly update ambassador meetings with your Team Lead and training calls when provided
  • Meet new people and build relationships
    • Pool ideas and resources/contacts with churches, schools/organizations
    • Get people excited and motivated
    • Ideate and create ways to engage your community to support the work of Mary’s Meals
    • Utilize your unique skills and gifts to bring support, awareness and fundraising for the work of Mary’s Meals
  • Support and execute all national Mary’s Meals campaigns and events
  • Utilize social media well for storytelling
  • Keep in regular contact with your Team Lead via email/phone/social media
