We continue our support for the 195 boys and 190 girls who receive a daily meal while studying at school. This is a call to action for all of my friends around the world and across Canada to jump in and join me in experiencing the joy of supporting a Mary's Meals Primary School in Mwanza, Republic of Malawi. The cost of providing a meal in a school for a child for a school year is only $16.00 Canadian, less than one lunch out in Toronto or Calgary! Mary's Meals is committed to spending more than 93% of donations on the children's program and less than 7% on fundraising and administration! Those of us who are so fortunate to have all that we need have the opportunity to share with those who lack even the most basic needs. There is great joy in giving to a worthy and effective cause and I invite you to share in the beauty and success of this mission! Just back from a tour of Asia and ready to get going again to complete the funding for this project! Just 85 kids to be sponsored to complete Year 2!
We re now at 87% of our 2 year goal! Just $1,358.11 and we complete the fundraising and provide 2 years of food in school for nearly 400 kids! We need to fund 85 more children at $16 a child.
