Fundraising Performance in Toronto a Success

Based on the story of "The Woman at the Well", Elisa Lollino gave a heartwarming performance at St. Claire Parish in Toronto on November 4, 2016.

Fundraising for Mary's Meals, Catholic actor and writer Elisa Lollino, performed her play entitled "He Thirsts for You" for around 70 guests on Friday, November 4, 2016. Guests were moved by the one-act, one-woman performance, and were also invited to stay to watch "Generation Hope" following the performance. Over $600 was raised for Mary's Meals to feed hungry children a daily meal in schools in Malawi. Mary's Meals Canada is grateful to Elisa for her hard work in organizing the event and would also like to thank Father Francesco Marrone for helping to organize this successful night! Elisa is also planning another performance fundraiser for Mary's Meals for Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 7pm at St. Matthew's Parish in Oakville.

Elisa Lollino is a Catholic is a graduate of Humber College’s Theatre Performance program. Upon returning to her Catholic roots in 2008, Elisa’s mission has been to use her skills and talents to evangelize through theatre.  She has performed her plays across Ontario in high schools, churches and art festivals.
