Volunteer opportunities

Lending us a hand during your spare time - even if it’s just a few hours a week - is a valuable contribution you can make to our work.

Here are just some of the ways you can help.

If you’re interested in volunteering for Mary’s Meals Canada, you can download our Ways To Get Involved document, which outlines some of the most common ways to get involved, and what some of our biggest needs are that volunteers typically fill.

Community Ambassador

Spread the word about Mary’s Meals in your community in ways that suit you. Just chatting to your friends and neighbors about our work is a great help. Or you can share a recent email update with them and invite them to sign up to our mailing list for regular updates. You can also distribute copies of Child 31 and Generation Hope or our brochures/magazine to public places such as local shops, dentist and doctor offices, libraries and hair salons.

Host a fundraising event

Any fundraising event, no matter how small, will make a real and lasting difference to some of the world’s poorest children and their families.

Whether you’re planning to sell cakes, pack bags in your local supermarket, host a fashion show, or get sponsored to do something wacky, we’d love to know about it and send you our fundraising pack. Please drop us a line.
